How Auto-Tally handles your data. This summary is written for clarity; it is not a substitute for legal advice. Please review and tailor it to your business before going live.
Auto-Tally ("we", "the service") is software that helps accounting firms convert bank statements and GST data into TallyPrime vouchers. Each customer firm is a separate tenant; firms cannot see one another's data.
To provide and secure the service, process your statements, issue invoices, and contact you about your account (verification, receipts, renewal reminders, service notices). We do not sell your data.
We use a payment processor (Razorpay) for payments and may use email and cloud-hosting providers to run the service. When the optional AI-mapping feature is enabled, only narration text and your ledger vocabulary are sent for suggestions — never account numbers, balances or amounts.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Export and account deletion are available in-app under Settings. Deleting your account permanently erases your firm's data.
We keep your data while your account is active. On deletion, operational data is erased; we may retain subscription invoices as required for tax/accounting records.
